Caicedo Productions and Teatro LATEA present the 8th annual The ONE
Festival. This exciting festival begins on April 1st through
April 14th, 2013. Submissions are currently being accepted until
February 18, 2013.
The ONE Festival will
have a two-week theatrical run, with multi-talented playwrights and performing artists
from all over the world. This annual event will showcase theatrical works from men and women
of solo performances.
The ONE Festival will be
accepting original non-published theatrical works, full/short length plays.
Each work will perform at least two times during the festival. One of the
theatrical works produced by the festival will have the chance to win 1,000 and
a full theatrical production produced by Teatro LA TEA at The Clemente Soto
Velez Cultural and Educational Center in NYC’s Lower East Side. The audience
will be the judges by voting for their favorite play. The performance
with the highest votes will be the ONE winner!
Submission requirements
for "The ONE Festival" 2013:
$100-Full Length –
Maximum 1hr, Minimum 45 minutes
$50-Short Length –
Maximum 30 minutes or less
Please send submission
fee with 1 copy of each of the following:
• Playwrights bio. Please
include: name, address, telephone number and email
• Treatment of theatrical
work
• Complete script of
theatrical work, plus a 10 minute DVD “sample work”
• Actor/director/crew
bios, if available
• Description of Set and
Props
• Deadline: Postmarked by
Friday, February 18, 2013
• Include SASE if you
would like materials returned
