Teatro Latea: El Gringuito at The One Festival

Caicedo Productions, Teatro LATEA and Dead Jíbaros Productions present El Gringuito, a solo show written and performed by Éric-Dominique Pérez.

El Gringuito is the storty of a redheaded Latino who explores the ups and downs of finding acceptance in a Latino community where "you don't look like anyone around you." It's a poignant and hilarious account of growing up looking different while trying to belong within your own people. This show will be presented in English, with some parts in Spanish and French.

The performances will take place April 26-29, 2012 at Teatro LATEA at 107 Suffolk Street (between Rivington and Delancey streets) in Lower Manhattan; Subway: F train to Delancey Street

J,M,Z trains to Essex Street. The performances are Thursday through Saturday nights at 8pm, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 4pm and Sunday evening at 7pm. Tickets are $20.
