Dancing In My Cockroach Killers| October 16-19 @ Pregones In The Bronx!

From its success in Hell’s Kitchen and now on its way to Los Angeles, this sizzling Pregones production makes a quick one-week stop in The Bronx. Join the actors and musicians of Pregones as they prepare to represent the company in the Los Angeles Theater Center’s National Encuentro – the largest National Latin@ Theater Festival in over 25 years.

DANCING IN MY COCKROACH KILLERS (DIMCK) is a bracing tribute to poet, storyteller and playwright Magdalena Gómez. Pregones’ stellar ensemble delivers the full range of Gomez’s rhythmic realism, boundless hope, and laugh out loud humor.

From the breathtaking Fuego en la cocina, the no-nonsense Why I Lost The Popularity Contest to the hilarious and daring Soap and Water, to the rousing Madre de Bomba, each story vibrates with glorious passion and soul. Performed in English & Spanish with titles. Live music!
