New York: Classes at FELT

The Fantastic Experimental Latino Theater (FELT), Partners in Arts and Education presents Acting, Art, Flamenco, and Salsa Classes.

Cuban Salsa.  Melany Walter (Instructor).
Ms. Walter first started her dancing career specializing in ballet then followed by jazz, funk and tap dance. She began dancing salsa, merengue and bachata in Baile de Cuba Dance Company in Italy.  She danced with Salsa in Motion Company in Guatemala, and with Eddie Torres in New York.
Classes begin Monday September 9th, 2013. Prices: $20 drop-in class, $65 for 1 month (4 classes per month) $120 for 1 month for 2 people.

Numina Dance Theater and Felt, present 
Flamenco Dance (Level 1). Silvia Navas (Instructor).
 No Previous Experience. Excellent for everybody.
Thursdays: September 5, 12, 19, 26. October 3,10, 17, 24, 31. November 7, 14, 21.
Two schedules to choose: 4:30 and 6:30. Price 1 1/2 hour: $30.00
Rhythmical patterns: clapping and foot work, arm work, body posture, footwork.

Acting Class. Gloria Zelaya (Instructor).
Beginners and intermediate level.  Ms. Zelaya is the Artistic Producing Director of FELT Theater and Film Production.
A simple eclectic approach to acting drawing from various acting techniques.  This class will cover improvisation techniques, scene and monologue study.  The workshop will encourage the student's sense of play, freedom and spontaneity.
