City College: Tradiciones Dominicanas, February 25th, 2016

CUNY Dominican Studies Institute (CUNY DSI)
invite you to the concert
Tradiciones Dominicanas

This concert is a celebration of Dominican folkloric as well as popular music, featuring performances of dances spectacularly choreographed by the renowned Dominican scholar, educator, and performer Maestro Leonardo Iván Domínguez and Conjunto Folklorico, whose repertoire includes more than 50 dances of Afro-Dominican and colonial Spanish heritage, such as merengue, bachata, vals, and mangulina. The music will be performed by La Camerata Washington Heights.
